TRUFFLE – TERMS OF USE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Truffle application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Truffle & Beyond Private Limited, a company registered in India.

2. Eligibility

To use Truffle, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be a resident of India.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements.

3. Invite-Only Access

Truffle operates on an exclusive invite-only model. Access to the App is granted solely at the discretion of Truffle & Beyond Private Limited. Submission of an invite request does not guarantee acceptance. Our AI system and internal human review panel evaluate all applications. Acceptance or rejection decisions are final and at our sole discretion.

4. Account Registration & Verification

Upon acceptance of your invite, you must:

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information including your full name, mobile number, and email address.
• Upload a clear photograph of your face. Profiles without a face photo will be rejected.
• Complete AI-powered facial verification before your profile goes live.
• Verify your mobile number and email address.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

5. Subscription & Payments

Truffle offers a single premium subscription plan at ₹999 per month ("Subscription"). The following terms apply:

• Subscriptions are processed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store payment systems.
• The Subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are available within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, no refunds will be issued.
• During our introductory launch period, the App may be made available free of charge for a limited time, at our sole discretion.
• Truffle reserves the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable prior notice.

6. User Conduct

By using Truffle, you agree not to:

• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information or photographs.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Post, share, or transmit any vulgar, obscene, abusive, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
• Engage in any form of harassment, bullying, or threatening behaviour toward other users.
• Attempt to circumvent the platform's verification systems.
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

Truffle actively monitors user activity. Violations of this section will result in immediate account suspension. Repeated or severe violations will result in a permanent ban.

7. Suspension & Termination

Truffle reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, Truffle, or third parties. Our process is as follows:

• First violation: Temporary suspension of account.
• Repeated or severe violation: Permanent ban from the platform.

Upon permanent ban, your account data will be retained for a period necessary to comply with legal obligations and prevent re-registration through fraudulent means.

8. Gender Ratio Policy

Truffle actively maintains an equal gender ratio on the platform through its invite-only onboarding process. We reserve the right to pause or decline invitations from any gender category to maintain this balance. This is a platform quality measure and does not constitute discrimination.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to the Truffle name, logo, design, software, and text — are the exclusive property of Truffle & Beyond Private Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Disclaimers

Truffle is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we make every effort to maintain a safe and authentic community, we do not guarantee that all users will behave in accordance with these Terms. Truffle & Beyond Private Limited shall not be liable for the conduct of any user on or off the platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Truffle & Beyond Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or emotional distress.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.

13. Amendments

Truffle & Beyond Private Limited reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the App or email.
